Heath Leads European Ladies' Amateur at Halfway Stage

Charlotte Heath leads the European Ladies' Amateur Championship at the halfway stage.

The English player matched her first round score on Day 2 at Golf de Saint-Germain, carding a second consecutive round of 67 (-5). She'll take a one shot lead into Friday's third round.

She'll be joined in the final group by Natalia Fiel (ESP) and Denisa Vodickova (CZE). The former returned the lowest score of the week in Round 2. Eight birdies and one bogey led to a 65 (-7) for the Spaniard, who sits one shot back on -9.

Vodickova came close to a 65 of her own. After bogeying the first, the Czech player made seven birdies to shoot a 66 (-6) and is two shots behind on -8.

Savannah de Bock (BEL) and Andrea Lignell (SWE) are also tied for third on -8, both signing for rounds of 67 (-5). Two more 67s came from Patricie Mackova (CZE) and Allesandra Fanali (ITA), who sit 6th and 7th alone respectively.
