Golf Club St. Leon-Rot has won the 2026 European Ladies’ Club Trophy, successfully defending its title at Hamburger Golf Club Falkenstein.
A field of 19 teams, each featuring three players, competed for the European title over three rounds at the renowned German venue.
The championship remained closely contested throughout the week, with several teams still in contention heading into the closing stretch of the final round. Ultimately, the defending champions produced the strongest finish to secure a four-shot victory and claim a record seventh European Ladies’ Club Trophy title.
St. Leon-Rot was the only team to finish the championship under par, posting team rounds of 140, 142 and 141 for a 423 total, three-under-par.
The German side was led by Yoo Jin Bae, who also claimed the individual honours. Bae carded rounds of 70, 72 and 69 to finish on two-under-par, one stroke clear of Hamburger Golf Club’s Leonie Breutigam.
Yoo Na Bae also played an important role in the winning performance, finishing tied sixth individually on two-over-par after rounds of 73, 70 and 72. Helena Baraka completed the St. Leon-Rot line-up, with her opening-round 70 contributing to the team’s strong start.
Golf de St Cloud (FRA) secured the silver medals on one-over-par after rounds of 142, 140 and 145. Smørum Golfklub (DEN) finished just one shot further back on two-over-par to take bronze.
Hosts Hamburger Golf Club finished fourth on six-over-par, while Madonna Di Campiglio (ITA) rounded out the top five on +10.
Behind Bae in the individual standings, Breutigam finished runner-up on one-under-par, while Blanca Gomez-Balboa Garcia of Real Sociedad Hípica Española Club de Campo took third place at level par.
The victory sees Golf Club St. Leon-Rot retain the trophy they won in 2025 and further extend their record as the most successful club in the history of the championship.
