The Vagliano Trophy took place from 22 - 23 July 2005 at the Chantilly Golf Club, France.
Instituted in 1959 and played every two years, it opposes ladies teams from Great-Britain and Ireland to the Continent of Europe.
After a very close match, GB&I won over Continent Europe by a score of 13 to 11.
