The EGA is delighted to confirm the medalists of the 2026 European Men's and Women's Amateur Golf Rankings.
The three men and three women will receive formal recognition for their achievements in the form of EGA medals.
The final 2026 European rankings, which filter European players from the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), were taken the week before the start of DP World Tour Qualifying School on 19 August.

Tyler Weaver has earned the gold medal as the top-ranked player in the European Men's Amateur Golf Ranking. The Englishman missed the summer season through injury but held the number-one spot thanks to a strong start to the year. Weaver recorded top-5 finishes at both the Jones Cup and Watersound Invitationals before winning the Valspar Collegiate in March, and has finished outside the top 20 in amateur events only once in the last 12 months. The Florida State player adds the gold medal to the silver ranking medal he earned last year.
Luke Poulter also impressed in US college golf over the past year and takes the silver medal in the ranking. The Englishman recorded one victory, two top-5s, one top-10 and four top-20 finishes in the last 12 months in leading college events with the Florida Gators, and will make his second consecutive Walker Cup appearance for Great Britain and Ireland next month.
Germany's Tim Wiedemeyer finishes the season in third position to earn the bronze medal. The 21-year-old claimed the biggest win of his amateur career at the European Amateur Championship in June, which lifted him into the top three alongside steady performances with Texas Tech University.

The top three of the European Women's Amateur Golf Ranking finished in identical order to 2025.
Paula Martín Sampedro continued her strong run of form after earning the gold medal last year, finishing tied runner-up at the World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore in October 2025. The Spaniard earned two collegiate wins in 2026, at the Bruin Wave Invitational and the ACC Women's Golf Championship, before claiming the Smyth Salver at the AIG Women's Open for the second consecutive year. The EGA gold medal is Martín Sampedro's second earned this season, after she helped Spain to the title at the European Ladies' Team Championship.
Andrea Revuelta has earned a second consecutive silver medal in the European Women's Amateur Golf Ranking. A teammate of Martín Sampedro at Stanford, Revuelta was also part of the winning European Ladies' Team Championship side last month. She won the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate and the NCAA Stanford Regional, and finished runner-up at both the Augusta National Women's Amateur and the Women's Amateur Championship this year.
Meja Örtengren from Sweden, also at Stanford University alongside the two players ranked above her, earned the bronze medal for a second consecutive year. The Swedish player finished runner-up at the European Ladies' Amateur Championship last month and has rarely finished outside the top 10 in the last 12 months, with five top-5 finishes in major amateur events.
