Genova Golf Club, open seven days a week all year round, is located in the heart of the Riviera di Ponente, a short distance from the city of Genoa, whose historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is easily accessible from Piedmont, Lombardy and the French Riviera.

History

The European Team Championship for Golfers with Disability was established to provide an international competition platform for golfers with disabilities. The event is the European-titled team event in the golf for disabled category.

The event came under the banner of the EGA in 2017 and is overseen in collaboration between the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA) and the EGA.

The tournament is held every two years, in opposite seasons to the individual championship, and features teams from various European nations.

The competition format in 2024 was adjusted to further promote inclusivity, and requires countries to field mixed-gender teams of players from different sport bands.
