Real Novo Sancti Petri
In May 1990, the Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club started its journey with 27 holes, and today it has become one of the best golf courses in Europe. December of that year saw the official inauguration of the Clubhouse in the presence of HRH the Count of Barcelona, representatives of public authorities, founder members, and its designer, Severiano Ballesteros.
History
The European Team Championship for Golfers with Disability was established to provide an international competition platform for golfers with disabilities. The event is the European-titled team event in the golf for disabled category.
The event came under the banner of the EGA in 2017 and is overseen in collaboration between the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA) and the EGA.
The tournament is held every two years, in opposite seasons to the individual championship, and features teams from various European nations.
The competition format in 2024 was adjusted to further promote inclusivity, and requires countries to field mixed-gender teams of players from different sport bands.
