European Championship for Golfers with Disability Underway

The 2021 European Championship for Golfers with Disability is underway at Amendoeira Golf Resort in Portugal.

Originally scheduled to be played in June, the event was moved to August due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions.

61 golfers will compete over three rounds of stroke play on the O'Connor Course for the individual European Men's, Ladies', and seated titles.

Normally played every other year, the competition was last played in 2018 following the cancellation of the 2020 edition.

Defending champion in the men's category, Juan Postigo (SPA) will look to defend his title this week, while Daphne Van Houten (NED) and Richard Kluwen (NED) will look to do the same in the ladies' and seated categories.
