England Wins European Senior Men's Team Championship

The European Senior Men's Team Championship, played this year at Royal Golf Club Marianské Làzne in Czech Republic, saw England win for the fourth time since 2009.

 

After thr Strokeplay qualification, eight teams were competing for the medals. In the quarter finals, France, Italy, England and Ireland got the most points and faced each others in the semi finals.

 

Finally, the battle for first place saw France facing England. The Englishmen came up clutch with the three needed points to claim the win.

 

Ireland also got a medal, but the bronze one, with a 4-1 win over Italy.
