32 European Players to Tee it up in Youth Olympic Games

16 boys and 16 girls will represent 16 European nations in the individual men's and women's Youth Olympic Games Events over the next three days in Buenos Aires.

Three rounds of stroke play will decide the medallists in two seperate competitions ahead of next week's mixed-gender event.

Reigning European Amateur Champion, Nicolai Hojgaard, will be looking to add an Olympic medal to his Eisenhower Trophy and Toyota Junior World Cup victories with Denmark so far this year. The Dane also played in last month's Junior Ryder Cup, which saw Europe fall one point short of the USA at Golf Disneyland, Paris.

Three 2018 European Patsy Hankins Trophy players will tee it up at Hurlingham Golf Club this week. Amanda Linner, who helped Sweden to victory in the European Ladies' Team Championship earlier this year, Spain's Blanca F. Garcia-Poggio, and Switzerland's Elena Moosmann.

Four of the players present at this year's Jacques Léglise Trophy have also travelled to Argentina. Joe Pagdin, on the winning side in Finland, will represent Great Britain & Ireland once more, while David Puig plays for Spain, Jerry Ji for the Netherlands, and Eemil Alajärvi for Finland. 

2017 European Young Masters Champion, Bard Bjornevik Skogen, who recently helped Norway to victory in the European Boys' Team Championship, Division 2 is also in the 32-man field.

Alessia Nobilio, who impressed at this year's European Girls' Team Championship, helping the Italian team to their second victory in three years, will compete against 31 girls in the Women's event.
