The European Golf Association (EGA) has confirmed the final set of rewards that will be available as part of the 2026 European Amateur Order of Merit (EAOM). Details for the men’s and women’s Final Sprint events and overall Final Ranking rewards are now released.
Following the Front-Nine and Back-Nine phases, the Final Sprint will bring the 2026 EAOM season to a decisive conclusion, offering leading players further opportunities to earn important ranking points and compete for valuable playing opportunities on Europe’s professional tours. The late-season series is a new addition to the international calendar and aims to improve the number of elite competitive events for players based in Europe.
The EAOM, launched earlier this year, has been developed by the EGA in coordination with its member federations to strengthen the European elite amateur golf calendar by increasing the visibility and value of its leading championships. The initiative aims to recognise and reward consistent performance across the season, provide attractive playing opportunities, and create pathways for Europe’s top amateur players into elite amateur events and professional golf.
FINAL SPRINT OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEN
The men’s Final Sprint will begin in August with the Finnish International Amateur Championship (Erkko Trophy) and conclude in September with the newly reintroduced Swedish International Men’s Amateur Championship.
Across the final four events of the season, winners will be rewarded with playing opportunities on the HotelPlanner Tour and DP World Tour.
