Switzerland Top Stroke Play Qualifying - European Amateur Team Championship, Division 2

Switzerland top the stroke play rankings after day one of the European Amateur Team Championship, Division 2 at ROSA Private Golf Club, Poland.

With the five best scores from six players counting, the Swiss team finished day one with a 12-under-par total. A seven-under-par 65 from jeremy Freiburghaus, the lowest score of the day, and a four-under-par 68 from Perry Cohen allowed Switzerland to end the day as the only team under-par. 

Belgium are in second place, with a total of par, and Slovenia are third after finishing one shot over-par.

The hosts, Poland, find themselves in seventh place on 19-over-par. 

The top four teams after the second round of stroke play will qualify for the medal matches, and a chance to earn promotion to the European Amateur Team Championship.
