The 2021 European Team Shield Championships are underway at Jurmala Golf Club.
The event marks the first time an EGA Championship has been held in Latvia.
12 ladies' teams and 12 men's teams will compete over four days of competition.
The four-player teams will complete one round of stroke play qualifying followed by three rounds of match play.
The teams qualified in the top-eight positions after Day 1 will compete for medals in the Flight A bracket, while the teams placed 9th to 12th will play for final position.
