European Team Shield Championships - Day 2

Croatia defeated defending champions, Lithuania, in the quarter-finals oon day two of the European Men's Team Shield Championship at Riverside Golf Zagreb.

The singles matches were split one point each between the hosts and Lithuania while the foursomes match had to be decided by extra holes. Lovro Horvat and Adam Brnic would eventually seal the match for Croatia, and with it a spot in the semi-final, on the fourth extra hole. 

Hungary and Liechtenstein also progressed to the Flight A semi-finals with 2-1 scorelines, defeating Bulgaria and Greece respectively. 

Malta will be the fourth team in the semi-finals after they won the first two matches in their tie with Cyprus.

In the Ladies' event, Poland and Latvia gained bys ino the semi-finals after finishing first and second respectively in the stroke play qualifying.

Serbia defeated Luxembourg 3-0, and Greece defeated Hungary 2-1, to claim the other two spots in the Flight A semi-finals.
