Nicknamed, 'The Augusta of the North' the 7088 yard "Hunting" is a treasure of a Northemburland golf course magnificently maintained and host to several flagship events.
History
The European Girls’ Team Championship is an annual team event for U18 girls, contested by EGA member countries. It has been held annually since 1991, featuring around 20 teams competing over five days.
The format includes two days of stroke play followed by three days of match play to compete for medals or final positions.
Many of Europe's biggest stars competed in the tournament as juniors, including Suzann Pettersen, Anna Nordqvist, Carlota Ciganda, Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, Céline Boutier, Sophia Popov, and more recently, Maja Stark and Linn Grant among many others.
