Pannonia G&CC
The golf club is situated approximately 30 – 40 minutes drive away from the centre of Budapest. The Championship golf course is situated in beautiful surroundings bounded on one side by the Etyek wine region and on the other side by Alcsútdoboz Máriavölgy. The course was opened in 1996 and since its opening it has staged many international and national events which include European Golf Association (EGA) sanctioned events.
History
The European Boys' Team Championship, Division 2, is an extension of its Division 1 counterpart. With the growth of the later since its inception in 1980, a Division 2 event became necessary to accommodate the number of competing nations in the early 2000s.
Six-player teams from EGA member countries compete over five days for the chance of promotion to the Division 1 event for the following year.
