Castle Royle Take Two-Shot Lead into Final Round in Bordeaux

Castle Royle will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the European Men's Club Trophy at Golf du Médoc Resort.

After extensive delays because of fog on Day 2, play was suspended due to darkness at 6:30 pm, with half of the field still on the course. This meant Round 2 had to be restarted at 9:00 am this morning.

David Langley added a three-under-par 68 to his first round score of 65, while Timothy Shin carded a two-under-par 69 to put the English club on 12-under-par.

RCG El Prat were the big movers of Round 2. Alejandro Larrazabal returned a 66 (-5) in the morning to add to Eduard Rousaud's 68 (-3) and take the Spanish Club to 10-under-par and into second position.

Defending champions, Racing Club de France, are still in contention for their second consecutive title on eight-under-par, while Danish club, Gyttegaard, that features European Amateur Champion, Nicolai Hojgaard, are just one shot further back on seven-under-par.
