We are pleased to announce that, as from January 1st 2005, a European Amateur Ranking for Ladies and Men will officially be launched.
The conditions will be as follows:
Number of Tournaments to be counted:
18 tournaments for Men and 15 for Ladies divided in three/two bands.
EGA Challenge Trophy Boys 2004
The EGA Challenge Trophy Boys took place from 29 - 31 July 2004 at the Bled Golf & Country Club, Slovenia.
A French language version of The R&A's website offering best practice guidelines for golf course management is launched on 1 January 2005. It is the first translation of the highly successful site and will be followed by Italian and German versions.

European Young Masters 2004
The European Young Masters took place from 22 - 24 July 2004 at the Styrian Golf Club Murhof, Austria.
It has been agreed within the European Golf Association Championship Committee that the limit on Driving Clubs as set down by the R&A will apply on all European Golf Association Individual and Team events as well as International Matches, Club Cup Trophies and European Young Masters as from 1
