Europe’s Junior Ryder Cup Captain, Maitena Alsuguren, has unveiled her 12-strong team to take on the United States at Interlachen Country Club from September 26-27.

This year’s European Amateur Championship was won by Italian Luca Cianchetti in a thrilling final. At the end of regular play, Cianchetti and Norwegian Viktor Hovland tied the lead at 16-under-par. Cianchetti recorded rounds of 72, 68, 65 and 67.

The leader going into the final day is Norwegian Viktor Hovland, who set a new course record at the Estonian Golf & Country Club with his third round of 63.
