A new research report has shown that golf participation is on the rise in Europe with over 10 million golfers now enjoying the sport.

The EGA’s Handicapping & Course Rating Committee (HCRC) has noticed that too often away scores are not entered on players’ handicapping records.

The 2021 EGA Annual General Meeting took place last Saturday 13 November in Reykjavík, Iceland, allowing delegates from across Europe to meet in person for the first time after 2 years, due to the effects of the pandemic.

Golf’s new Rules of Amateur Status, set to be implemented on 1 January 2022, have been published by The R&A and the USGA.
