The event, co-sanctioned by the Ladies’ European Tour and DP World Tour, sees men and ladies compete for the same prize pool on the same course.

Less than a year ago, Grant was still an amateur and competing in EGA championships, in which she’s accumulated an impressive resume in recent years.

The Swedish player won the European Girls’ Team Championship with Sweden in 2017, then the European Ladies’ Team Championship in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Grant and the Swedish team fell just short of a record fourth-straight victory at Royal County Down in 2021, settling for silver medals after losing out to England in the final.

Grant was unable to earn an individual medal in her appearances in the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship but finished in the top-10 on three occasions. In a tie for 6th in 2021, 6th outright in 2020, and tied for 5th in 2019.

The former WAGR number-two also represented the Continent of Europe in the Vagliano Trophy in 2019. The Swedish player scored three points out of a possible four for her side, going unbeaten to help the team to victory againts Great Britain & Ireland at Royal St. George’s.

Since turning pro in August last year, she’s won six times. Three victories on the Sunshine Ladies’ Tour and three on the Ladies’ European Tour.

At just 22 years of age, Grant is certainly a player to look out for at the top of the European game in the coming seasons.
