Hosting Course
Pravets Golf Club
Pravets Golf Club was officially opened in May 2011. Designed by Peter Harradine the course is a challenging parkland style layout framed by the Pravets Lake and complemented by the 4 star Riu Hotel and Spa Resort. The Hotel has a capacity of 252 rooms and can host conferences for up to 500 delegates. It also boasts a 3000 sq. meter Spa area and a fitness centre with an Olympic size indoor/outdoor swimming pool.
History
The European Ladies’ Club Trophy is an annual stroke play event for national champion women's teams from each EGA member country, first played in 2001.
Approximately 20 teams of three players compete for the European club title over three days, with the two best scores from each round contributing to the clubs' final totals.
The event, ranked on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), regularly attracts a strong international field.
