On day two of the European Ladies’ Club Trophy, defending champions Racing Club de France – La Boulie were able to extend their lead by two strokes. After rounds of 67 by Josephine Farrando, 70 by Alexandra Yshard and 72 by Anyssia Herbaut, the Racingwomen stay at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 274 (-14). Especially Farrando started impressively into the day, posting six birdies on the first nine holes.
Denmark’s Smorum Golf Club remain the closest followers at 279 (-9) and will try to make up the five shot deficit in tomorrow’s final round.
Paris Country Club sent U.G.C. De Pan to fourth place. Owing to Charlotte Liautier’s round of 67, shared lowest score of the day, the French champions are currently placed third at 283 (-3).
With U.G.C. De Pan sitting only three shots behind, tomorrow’s race for the medals will be an exciting one.
