A total of 144 players enjoyed the International European Mid-Amateur Championship which took place in sunny Rio Real Marbella (Spain) on the 4-6 June 2009. The competition was won by Stephan East from England followed by Nigel Sweet also from England and Rodrigo Lacerda Soares from Brasil.
