The EGA selection committee will shortly be contacting EGA members with regard to European Team selections and player availability to participate in the Michael Bonallack Trophy to be held on 25-27 April 2008 in Valderrama, Spain.

The R&A’s World Amateur Golf Ranking will be used to select the team, with a number of Captain’s picks.  The 2008 Captain will be Mr Gonzaga Escauriaza (Spain), who captained the European Team to victory in 2006 in New Zealand.
