ONLINE ENTRIES

This year, for the first time, the EGA will be conducting online entries and entry-fee payments for our International European Championships.  We will encourage all entrants to use the system and believe that it will greatly improve our administrative capabilities as well as make entry easier for the players.

USERNAME & PASSWORD

For information: the username and password originally incorporated into the online entry system has since been deactivated as it was the most common source of confusion among users.  This only means that an entrant's details cannot be automatically recalled using a login function. 

For those interested, some WWW search engines offer their own automatic entry function for names and addresses, etc.  For further information, type "autofill" into a search engine.

HANDICAP VALIDATION

Entrants do not need to personally obtain a handicap validation from their golf club or national golf authority.  Once the entry has been completed, an email is generated and sent to the national golf authority the entrant selected on the entry form. It will show the entrant's name, golf club, handicap and the Championship the entrant wishes to enter.  For handicap validation, the email will present the option of two links:  to validate or not to validate the handicap shown.  The national golf authority will either validate the handicap themselves, or may forward the email to the entrant's regional golf authority or golf club.  Once validated, the entry will be forwarded to the EGA.  If invalidated, the entrant will automatically be sent an email inviting them to re-register; only one payment transaction will be necessary.

A list of entrants will be regularly updated and posted on this website.

Entrants selecting to pay by bank transfer will be required to personally have their handicaps validated on a hard copy entry form.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The entrance fee for International European Championships is € 80,-.  Payment is by Master or Visa Card.  Bank transfer is also possible, but not online.  If you need to pay by bank transfer, please download the relevant entry form below, complete the inside cover and mail or fax it to the EGA.  Entrants selecting to pay by bank transfer will be required to personally have their handicaps validated on a hard copy entry form.

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION

Please see the Conditions, Section 3.5 or 3.6.
