It has been agreed within the European Golf Association Championship Committee that the limit on Driving Clubs as set down by the R&A will apply on all European Golf Association Individual and Team events as well as International Matches, Club Cup Trophies and European Young Masters as from 1st January 2005.

Driving Club Rule:

"Driving clubs must not have a characteristic time greater than 257 microseconds when measured on pendulum testing apparatus approved by R&A Rules LImited - see also Appendix II, 5a of the Rules of Golf.

Competitors should ensure that the club they are playing with is conform.
