Within the premises splendid Hotel Vanajanlinna, originally a manor built in 1924, accommodates guests and offers wonderful dining opportunities.
1 hour drive from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
Linna Golf is located only 100 kilometers from Helsinki and 75 kilometers from the cities of Tampere and Lahti. This idyllic course offers a great variety of beautiful landscapes and terrains. The landscape takes full advantage of the splendid old woods in the area. One of the old estate buildings from early 20th century has been fully renovated into a club house, including a restaurant, saunas, dressing rooms, a golf shop, offices and exclusive club & grand suites available for hotel guests.
Rankings and reviews
Since opening on August 1st 2005, the course has received praise from players for its maintenance and design. Golf world magazine 2016, ranked Linna Golf among the 100 Best Courses, and the 100 Best Golf resorts in Continental Europe. 
The Hoylake Open Champion 1956 Peter Thomson described Linna after finishing his round:
"I doubt there is a better course in Scandinavia. The terrain is excellent and has been used in the best way possible to create a course with a great variety of holes which will challenge all standards of golfers. In time, I believe Linna Golf will become a national treasure.”
