The 2023 European Senior Ladies' Championship took place this year at the stunning course of Parador de El Saler, in Spain.
20 countries were taking part in the competition, but only the top 8 could try to fight for the podium and the first place. The final four countries who fought for the podium were Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain.
In the semi finals, Ireland had the last word against Switzerland, and earned a spot to face Spain in the finals, who won 3-2 against Belgium in their respective semi final match.
In the end, it is Spain, who had three runner-up finishes in this competition over the past years, who lifted the trophy and earned the first place. The spanish team was able to secure 3.5 points against Ireland, and claimed one more win for Spain this year. What a season for Spain !
