Five Venues Announced for 2024 EGA Championships

The EGA is delighted to announce five venues for its 2024 championship calendar:

 

2024 European Amateur Championship - 26-29 June
The Scandinavian Golf Club, Denmark


2024 European Boys’ Team Championship - 9-13 July
Diamond Golf & Country Club, Austria



2024 European Ladies’ Team Championship - 9-13 July 2024 
Real Sociedad Hípica Española Club de Campo, Spain


2024 European Girls' Team Championship - 9-13 July 2024 
Göteborgs Golf Club, Sweden



2024 European Senior Men’s Team Championship - 3-7 September 2024 
BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas, Bulgaria

 

A spot at The Open Championship will be up for grabs at the The Scandinavian in Denmark next summer when the club hosts the world's best amateur players for the European Amateur Championship from 26 to 29 June. The event will be the first EGA Championship played at the club, which features two courses regularly ranked inside the Continent of Europe's top-100.

 

The staging of the event will mark the fourth time the championship has been played in Denmark, and the first since 2008. The home players will be looking to add a third Danish name to the trophy in the space of just six years following Christoffer Bring's victory in 2021 and Nicolai Hojgaard's in 2018.

 

Additionally, four venues have been confirmed for the 2024 European Team Championships. The boys' will travel to Diamond Country Club in Austra, a regular host of EGA championships and past DP World Tour events. The European Girls' Team Championship will be held at Göteborgs Golf Klubb near Gothenburg in Sweden, while the ladies' will compete at Real Sociedad Hípica Española Club de Campo near Madrid.

 

Finally, the European Senior Men's Team Championship will be played at BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas in Bulgaria, a recent host of the European Mid-Amateur and European Senior Ladies' Team Championships.
