Esther Henseleit Retains Lead After Round Two in Slovakia

Esther Henseleit carded a 71 (-1) in round two of the European Ladies' Amateur Chamionship at Penati Golf Resort, Slovakia, to retain her lead at the halfway stage.

The German player, who shot an eight-under-par round on day one, holds a one-shot lead over Finland's Kiira Riihijarvi, who shot the lowest score on day two, a seven-under-par round of 65. 

Italian player, Alessia Nobilio, carded a two-under-par 70 and sits alone in third place on seven-under-par, one shot behing Riihijarvi. 

French player, Agathe Laisne, made good progress on her title-defence after shooting a four-under-par 68 to jump 20 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 8th place. 

60 players and ties will make the 54-hole cut after day three, with 67 players currently siting at five-over-par or better.
