Caroline Huyskes Elected EGA President

Caroline Huyskes has been elected as the new President of the European Golf Association during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting in London.

Huyskes, the acting President of the Royal Netherlands Golf Federation in parallel, replaces Jan Hubrecht (ENG) who has finished his two-year term at the helm of the association.

Huyskes becomes the 38th President of the EGA, and just the second woman to hold the position.

“It’s hard to tell you how proud I am to stand here having just been elected EGA President” said Huyskes during the EGA’s 2023 AGM.

“My passion for golf is not only as a player, but even more so in administrative roles and as a captain. To give back to the sport of golf is what really makes me happy and I very much look forward to the next two years as EGA President.”

Having formerly served the association for four years as Honorary Treasurer, and the last two years as President-Elect, Huyskes will act as President and Chair of the EGA until November 2025.
